SVP, Chief Compliance & CRA Officer
My name is Karen Wriglesworth and I am the Chief Compliance and Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) Officer for Riverview Bank. I’ve held these positions with the Bank since January 2019. After graduating from the Pennsylvania State University with a Business degree, I started my banking career with CBT Bank as a teller at the Bridge Street Office. From there, I worked as a proof operator, Accountant, Assistant Manager at the Curwensville Office, Audit Manager and finally Audit/Compliance Officer from October 2017 until advancing to my current position. I’m married to Jeff, a Dairy Farmer, and we live in Clearfield County. We have two children and six grandchildren; three boys, three girls. The kids range in age from 11 down to two. Both of our children graduated from PSU; our daughter was in the Blue Band during her four years in college. Needless to say, we enjoy all things Penn State to include football, basketball and hockey. During my spare time I enjoy walking, working in the yard, listening to music, and reading. I also enjoy cheering on the Pirates during the summer and the Steelers in the fall. I am responsible for managing the Bank’s compliance program to ensure that all Bank functions are in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations. I work closely with most departments in the Bank when developing new products and services. I also serve as the Bank’s Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) Officer by developing, implementing, and administering all aspects of the CRA Compliance Program. Riverview Bank supports the communities it serves in so many ways; lending to small businesses and consumers, monetary donations, and employee involvement in community activities. After attending numerous webinars and studying for several months, in June of this year I earned my Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) certification. The CRCM is sponsored by the American Bankers Association (ABA) who promotes industry excellence and continuous career development for bankers through a wide range of job-specific professional certifications. Developed by experts in the financial services industry, ABA certifications are acknowledged industry-wide as the symbol of excellence in banking skills and knowledge. Riverview Bank supports and promotes educational opportunities for its employees. The Bank ensures that its employees possess current, relevant skills, affording them deeper insight into their field and a higher level of overall competence. Riverview Bank is committed to its employee’s professional development which helps to lead to the employee’s commitment to the company. Without the Bank’s dedication and encouragement to employee education, I would not have achieved my certification.
Vice President, Security Officer
My name is Kayla Thomas and I am the Vice President Security Officer at Riverview Bank. I have been with Riverview Bank since September 2017. A typical work day for me is far from typical, as every day presents a different challenge, because fraud and physical security are ever evolving. The best part of being a Security Officer is being able to help customers who have fallen victim to fraud. It is truly rewarding to save a customer and the bank from a monetary loss. One of my favorite things about Riverview Bank is the atmosphere. I’ve worked for several other financial institutions in the past, and Riverview Bank is the only financial institution where I’ve felt truly appreciated and supported in my role. In December 2011, I graduated from Shippensburg University with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. In 2018 I earned my certification as Community Bank Security Officer, an accomplishment for which I am very proud of, and would not have been possible without the support from my supervisor and Riverview Bank. Also, in 2018, I earned the title of Vice President, which is another major accomplishment I am proud of. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. You can also find me deep in the woods of Potter County enjoying nature in all its glory.
Chief Marketing Officer
My name is LeeAnn Gephart and I am the Chief Marketing Officer here at Riverview!
My name is Kylee Altland and I am a marketing intern at Riverview. I am currently a junior at Penn State Harrisburg; majoring in Marketing and Management with a minor in Communications. When I am not working or taking classes, one can find me hiking, kayaking or at the gym. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends. One of my favorite things about Riverview and its Operating Divisions is the people. The work atmosphere is unlike any other and everyone is so kind and caring. I also love how Riverview is so involved in its communities. I am proud to work for a bank that puts its customers’ needs first. Riverview provides numerous products that can help each and every individual. Personally, I have used one of their budget calculators to determine a potential student loan payoff amount. They offer various calculators and even offer coaches for things such as filling out a FAFSA, creating a budget, determining a mortgage, and planning for retirement. Riverview has not only helped me expand my knowledge in my field of study, but has also helped me grow as an individual. I am extremely thankful for the opportunity to be an intern here.
